Etisalat revealed yesterday that it would continue to help and address the needs of small and medium businesses in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi to accelerate the sector's digital transformation.
The Khalifa Fund recently announced the addition of Etisalat and Microsoft to its e-empowerment program, which aims to encourage the digital growth of small and medium-sized enterprises and provide innovative opportunities for Abu Dhabi's entrepreneurial environment, such as webinars, workshops, discounted pricing, and funding. All is now digital.
According to Ministry of Economy data, Etisalat is committed to supporting the small and medium-sized business market, which accounts for more than 94 percent of total companies in the UAE and employs more than 86 percent of the private sector workforce.
Furthermore, startups in Abu Dhabi have access to a dedicated website with all related information. Etisalat also connects to the "Hello Business Hub" interconnected center, which provides small and medium-sized companies participating in the e-empowerment scheme with personalized communication facilities and other solutions. With added benefit, in a manner that allows for maximum versatility during company registration, bank account opening, telephone facilities, and other business-related processes in the UAE.
While the partners of the "Hello Business Hub" center offer a variety of unique offers for new companies seeking to establish themselves in Abu Dhabi, such as commercial licenses and banking facilities.
According to a leading newspaper, Etisalat's Senior Vice President for Small and Medium Enterprises, Essam Mahmoud, stated: "We are proud of our strategic partnership with (Khalifa Fund), within the framework of the e-empowerment program of the (Fund), which allows us to meet the needs of small and emerging companies. In return, these companies benefit from Our advanced capabilities to advance their business and support digital transformation endeavors.
